Network Monitoring Experiment
Selected results from the JIVE SFXC software correlator

22 February 2024

Mode:
3.6 cm, 4096 Mbps, 32 BBC channels, 32 MHz filters, 2-bit sampling.

Participating antennas:
Westerbork (Wb), Effelsberg (Ef), Medicina (Mc), Noto (Nt), Onsala 20m (O6), Tianma 65m (T6),
Urumqi (Ur), Torun (Tr), Yebes 40m (Ys), Hartebeesthoek (Hh), Irbene 32m (Ir), Kunming (Km).

With 2 s integration times on
J0319+4130 (scans 1-4), J0530+1331 (scans 5-10), and J0555+3948 (scans 11-14).

Notes:
-- Ef out after scan 6. Km out in scan 2 and after scan 10.
-- Mc bottom IF loses sensitivity. Although most 4 Gbps stations do to some degree at the band edges.
-- Ir autos show quite a lot of noise and scatter across IFs.
-- Tr polarization inputs were swapped (was corrected in vex).
-- Km recorded with a 2Gbps Mk6 VDIF setup. (They can also do 4 Gbps, but not tested here.)
-- Scan 4 is the best: brightest source, Ef as refence, all stations, fringes to everyone.
